Contamination during cold start of hydraulic systems
Generally, almost all contamination enters the hydraulic system during cold start. The reason is that the filter by-passes the oil when the pressure becomes too high. This is eliminated by using a pressure filter that can withstand the high pressure = The oil is forced through filtration in all conditions.
Pressure filter for hydrostatic systems
Pressure filter 14-CRZX10 is compact and convenient and can be mounted in a custom-made valve manifold with pressure relief valve, as per the image above. The pressure relief valve leads to the tank or the suction side of the pump.
Electronic pressure sensor for hydraulic filter
Electronic pressure sensor as an option can also be used for monitoring the filter pressure; when a higher pressure is indicated by the sensor, filter replacement is recommended.
If the filter is clogged, pressure to the power steering is not maintained and the machine stops, which forces the user to replace the filter.
