Self-compensating, high energy absorption and robust design.

ACE Controls industrial shock absorbers are designed to efficiently and reliably absorb kinetic energy in a wide range of industrial applications. They are used in moving machine components, linear units, robots, pneumatic cylinders, as well as in rotating and oscillating loads. By reducing the load at end stops, the shock absorbers protect the machinery, extend the service life of components, and contribute to a quieter and safer working environment. They are also excellent for increasing cycle speeds in machines, as they allow for higher movement speeds without compromising performance or safety. Thanks to their robust construction and smart design, ACE’s industrial shock absorbers have a service life of up to 25 million cycles. The shock absorbers are maintenance-free and available as both self-compensating and adjustable models, making them easy to adapt to different applications and needs.

Adjustable, high energy absorption and progressive adjustment.
Industrial shock absorbers from ACE make it possible to increase machine movement speeds without the need to slow down before end positions or stops. Instead, the kinetic energy is effectively absorbed by the shock absorber, optimizing cycle times and production flow. At the same time, the risk of quality issues caused by shocks or vibrations in the manufacturing process is reduced – a critical factor in sensitive production or high-volume output.
ACE Controls industrial shock absorbers play an important role in reducing stress on machines and equipment. By effectively dampening both shocks and vibrations, they extend the lifespan of components and help prevent downtime. At the same time, they improve the working environment by lowering noise levels and reducing the risk of injury due to uncontrolled movement.
Thanks to the use of high-strength alloy steel, ACE’s industrial shock absorbers offer extremely long service life, even under tough operating conditions. Many models are also available in stainless steel for applications in, for example, marine environments or food processing. A specially developed sealing technology ensures reliability even under high loads. Some models are equipped with hermetic sealing and a rolling diaphragm instead of conventional seals, which further increases service life – from 1 up to 25 million cycles.
The industrial shock absorbers adapt to different types of motion – linear, rotational, or oscillating – and ensure precise and consistent damping in every movement. This optimizes machine performance, minimizes wear, and increases uptime. They are well suited for automated processes where reliable damping is essential for both precision and durability.
The shock absorbers are easy to install with various mounting options, including flanges, clamps, and clevis mounts. Some models can also be built directly into pneumatic cylinders. Accessories such as rod protectors, side load adapters, and stop collars with position sensors further enhance flexibility. With ACE’s Airbleed system, a continuous airflow is supplied to keep the piston rod free from harmful particles or fluids – particularly useful in dirty or humid environments.
