For low frequencies, small to very large loads.
Damping low-frequency vibrations below 10 Hz is especially challenging because improper damping can amplify vibrations through resonance. To address this, ACE Controls has developed pneumatic levelling mounts that not only effectively damp and control vibrations at these low frequencies but also provide automatic levelling. This feature is essential for equipment that must remain perfectly horizontal to ensure accuracy and stability. This type of vibration control is ideal for sensitive medical devices, laboratory instruments, and electronics manufacturing such as circuit boards and other computer components. By isolating these from disruptive vibrations, both precision and operational reliability are improved.

ACE Controls provides two main types of pneumatic levelling mounts for low-frequency vibrations: PLM and PAL. PLM mounts isolate test facilities and high-performance machines with a low natural frequency of 3 Hz and balanced horizontal and vertical stability that extends service life. PAL mounts add automatic levelling and very fast response times, with natural frequencies reaching as low as 0.5 Hz. This makes them especially suitable for precision measurement equipment where both stability and quick adjustment are critical.
Measure vibrations with an app to choose the right damping
To select the optimal vibration isolation, ACE Controls offers the VibroChecker app for iPhone and iPad. A free version measures frequencies up to 50 Hz, while the professional VibroChecker PRO version—used with an external sensor or gyroscope—can measure vibrations up to 8,000 Hz. These measurement results help choose the right pneumatic levelling mounts and other isolation solutions to reduce damaging wear and unwanted noise.
