Pressure monitoring for reliable operation

Pressure sensors – also known as pressure transducers – are essential components in modern hydraulic systems. They continuously measure pressure at various key points in the system, such as in pump circuits, cylinders, or manifolds. The collected data can be used for both monitoring and control purposes, for example to activate different functions via a controller like the XMD or as part of a larger automation setup. Our pressure sensors come in a wide range of configurations with multiple options for hydraulic thread types and electrical connectors, making them easy to integrate into diverse installations.

Temperature control for system longevity

Maintaining the correct oil temperature is critical for ensuring optimal performance and extending the service life of a hydraulic system. A temperature sensor is typically installed in the hydraulic tank to provide real-time temperature readings. Excessively high temperatures can reduce the oil’s lubricating properties and accelerate wear. By combining a temperature sensor with a controller such as the XMD, it is possible to automatically regulate a fan-driven oil cooler, adjusting fan speed based on current cooling demand. This results in a more energy-efficient and responsive cooling solution.
