ISO/DIN 43650, form A, round coil for solenoid valves.
We offer a wide range of solenoid coils for hydraulic valves, available in various voltage and connector types. A solenoid coil is the electrical component that converts electrical energy into magnetic force, which in turn actuates the valve to control hydraulic flow. Choosing the right solenoid coil is crucial to ensure proper operation, durability, and compatibility with the rest of the system. In this category you will find solenoid coils for valves in the 770 series.

Sun Hydraulics solenoid coils come with several connector options to suit different applications and industry standards. The most common connectors are DIN 43650, also known as Hirschmann, which is widely used in industrial environments, and Deutsch DT04-2P, commonly found in mobile hydraulics. Additionally, AMP Junior connectors are available, although less frequently used.
It is essential to verify that the solenoid coil fits the specific valve series, as different generations and series from Sun Hydraulics have varying dimensions and mounting designs. For example, the latest 740 series features a 16 mm inner diameter coil compatible with Sun’s FLeX series and offers both high-power and low-power options to tailor performance to your needs. The well-established 770 series uses a round coil with a 19 mm inner diameter, while the older 760 series has a square coil with a 14.2 mm inner diameter. To avoid installation errors, always consult the datasheet to confirm which coil fits which valve series.
Sun Hydraulics solenoid coils are suitable for both simple on/off functions and advanced proportional control. For proportional control, we recommend the XMD controller, which can be easily configured via a mobile app or PC software without any programming skills required.
The solenoid coils come in various voltage ratings to meet different requirements and applications. Available options include 12 VDC, 14 VDC, 24 VDC, 28 VDC, 36 VDC, 48 VDC, 127 VDC, 220 VDC, as well as 115 VAC and 230 VAC.
For hazardous areas requiring explosion protection, we offer ATEX-certified solenoid coils. These coils must be ordered together with the valve and are not available separately. The same applies to monitored valves, where solenoid coils must also be purchased as part of the valve assembly.
