Sun Hydraulics offers several ready-made circuits for flow prioritization, ideal for add-on functions such as rock crushers and hydraulic breakers on excavators, wheel loaders, and other construction machinery.

These are simple and efficient circuits that ensure no power is lost from the main function when an additional cylinder or motor is operating.

The hydraulic schematic above shows an example of a proportional, remotely controlled priority circuit. When the FP*K valve receives a proportional signal from the XMD controller, it opens gradually according to the signal. The LH*A valve functions as a pressure compensator, ensuring that the flow through port CF remains constant even under changing pressure conditions. This guarantees a steady flow to demanding applications such as hydraulic breakers and rock crushers.
