SUN Hydraulics Launches the FLeX™ Series with Solenoid-Operated Valves and Coils

SUN Hydraulics has introduced a new product family — FLeX™ — featuring solenoid-operated valves, coils, and electronic accessories. The launch includes 16 completely new valves, of which 12 are on/off valves and 4 are proportional flow control valves, available in T-8A and T-162A cavities. The products are engineered to be market-leading in their segment.

Key Features of the FLeX™ Series

• Low pressure drop and internal leakage of less than 1 drop per minute

• Designed and tested for 10 million cycles

• Zinc-nickel surface coating as standard, withstanding 1,000 hours of salt spray testing

• All valves feature SUN’s unique two-piece floating nose design, compensating for cavity variations in the manifold

• Pressure ratings up to 350 bar

• Available with three solenoid coil options:
  – 25W
  – 17W
  – Explosion-proof (ATEX, IECEx, and CSA certified)
