Our sustainability focus means that we direct our efforts within the following areas:
Customer Care – Through creative dialogue with our customers, we work out the best sustainable overall solution by combining quality, durability, and recyclability of our products and components.
Logistics – We seek logistics solutions that reduce the climate impact per product delivered to customers, regarding both transportation and warehousing.
Purchasing – All purchasing must be sustainable and carefully considered, taking into account quality, environment, work environment, and social responsibility.
We work with improvements in all areas through preventive efforts together with our customers and employees. In this work, we comply with the laws and other requirements that apply to us.

Reduce the climate impact of operations by 5% per year in relation to turnover from Scope 1, 2, and 3 according to GHG.
Scope 1
Hydnet’s vehicle fleet is being modernized.
For domestic business trips exceeding 350 km, train travel shall be prioritized.
Scope 2
Hydnet will review its total electricity consumption and establish a plan to reduce it.
Scope 3
In the design and construction of hydraulic solutions, Hydnet strives to minimize energy consumption. This can, for example, be achieved by reducing pressure drop through the choice of components or by designing larger channels for oil flow.
In the planning of purchasing and delivery of materials, Hydnet shall always seek the best solution with regard to sustainability, service, and economy.
Hydnet is part of the Indutrade Group and reports our progress annually. Here you can find Indutrade’s Sustainability Strategy and information about the UN’s sustainability initiative, the Global Compact, which Indutrade has signed.
