The circuit works so that the valve compensates for a change in load level, allowing the flow to be regulated without being affected by the load. The flow is controlled either with a manual throttle valve or with an electrical proportional valve.
There are different compensator valves for systems with a fixed pump or with a variable pump. Those for a fixed pump can shunt excess flow.
Ready-made solutions are available for line mounting in sizes up to G 1 1/4” thread.
In sandwich design, also referred to as a pressure compensator module, they are available in sizes up to NG25 and are listed under sandwich special manifolds.
All manifolds are available in aluminum (3000 psi / 210 bar) or steel (5000 psi / 350 bar) and can be supplied with surface treatment.
