Tubus – A simple and effective shock absorber!

Better damping than a rubber stop, simpler and more affordable than a hydraulic shock absorber!

Tubus is a great option when you need to absorb motion — for example, on a hatch, gantry, or swing arm — and want something easy to install, more durable, and less expensive than a hydraulic damper, while still offering excellent energy absorption.

Suitable for Harsh Environments

Made from co-polyester elastomer, Tubus is resistant to saltwater and UV radiation, making it ideal for demanding environments and applications.

Tubus is commonly used in overhead cranes, conveyors, hatches, end stops, marine applications, or to protect machinery and products during transport and handling. It can also be used as an emergency stop or safety stop.

The damper can absorb up to 70% of the impact energy, and is available in sizes with energy absorption ranging from 1 Nm to 8000 Nm per impact. It is easily mounted with a screw from M3 to M16.

Several models are available for different types of applications — including options for radial impact absorption.
