Profile dampers Tubus

The ACE Controls Tubus series consists of high-performance dampers made from durable polyester elastomer, providing significantly better damping than traditional rubber buffers. With proper sizing, Tubus dampers can absorb up to 70% of the kinetic energy, making them an effective and reliable choice for many applications. The unique material properties of polyester elastomer combine flexibility, strength, and wear resistance, making Tubus dampers a long-term solution for many industrial needs. Rubber buffers are more commonly used for emergency stops rather than continuous operation because they do not provide an exact stop position like hydraulic shock absorbers, and they exhibit some rebound since they do not absorb all the movement energy. They are a more cost-effective alternative to traditional shock absorbers and are easier to integrate into different systems. Unlike mechanical shock absorbers, which usually contain hydraulics or gas and may require adjustment or maintenance, rubber buffers are completely solid and have no moving parts, making them robust and virtually maintenance-free.
